The Internet’s Reaction To Post Malone’s New Oreo Flavor Is Hilarious

Beyond his collaborations with Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Morgan Wallen, singer and rapper Post Malone is also known for some iconic brand collabs over the years, from Bud Light to Doritos. Now, the Coachella headliner can add Oreo cookies to his list of partnerships. Post Malone announced today that he’s teaming up with Oreo to release a limited-edition flavor, and the Post Malone Oreo is the first of its kind.

Oreo teased the collab on X on January 21, writing that they “had some help” (a nod to Posty’s country collab with Wallen) with an upcoming launch, including a cryptic picture of a guitar. Many fans were quick to catch on to the pun, dropping Post Malone GIFs and tagging the rapper in the comments.

The news was made official on January 22, with both the rapper and the cookie company posting an official announcement. While the collaboration was confirmed, though, one major question remained: what flavor is the new Post Malone Oreo?

Since X isn’t X without plenty of jokes and sarcastic responses, it’s no surprise that fans of Oreo and Posty alike showed up in the comments to guess what flavor the new cookies would be.

First things first: It does not taste like Post Malone.

Would a Post Malone-flavored Oreo be considered cannibalism? Up for debate.

Also up for debate: what would a Post Malone Oreo taste like?

You know it’s a serious question when Carl’s Jr. is chiming in.

Post Malone Oreos are reminiscent of another iconic duo.

I mean, he did collab with Bud Light, after all.

This flavor guess wasn’t even a question.

I appreciate the confidence.

Does Posty like beer or something?

Guinness ice cream exists, so I wouldn’t be shocked by a Bud Light Oreo.

I’m starting to sense a theme.

I mean, Posty did once admit to smoking almost 50 cigarettes a day…

Seriously, a major trend in flavor guesses.

Not sure how Oreo would capture the distinction.

Or maybe a different kind of smoke?

Oreos seem like a popular drunchie.

Is the new Post Malone Oreo flavor inspired by his love for playing guitar?

Tbh, I feel like this could have an unpleasant plastic taste.

Not a flavor guess, but a thought on the appearance of Post Malone Oreo cookies.

The face tattoos are pretty synonymous with Posty.

Wait, so what flavor are the Post Malone Oreo cookies?

The Post Malone Oreo cookies featured a twisted creme in between the two cookies – a historic first for the cookie company. The collab features salted caramel and shortbread flavor creams, twisted between one chocolate Oreo cookie and one golden Oreo cookie. Based on this description alone, I don’t think that Posty was too far-fetched when he asked if he created the best Oreo ever.

According to USA Today, the Post Malone Oreo cookies will “feature nine different embossments… [that] represent Malone’s artistic career, including a guitar pick, butterfly, truck and chains.” While it’s not exactly a tattoo-flavored Oreo, it is a nice nod to Post Malone’s iconic ink.

How do I get the Post Malone Oreo cookies?

Post Malone Oreos will be available for presale via the Oreo website beginning Monday, January 27. Fans of the collab can sign up for early access to the Oreos now by visiting oreo.com/presale.

If you miss the online drop, retailers nationwide will begin rolling out Post Malone Oreo Cookies for a limited time beginning Monday, February 3.
