Pizza Hut Extended Its $2 Tuesdays

Pizza Hut. It was once a beloved spot known for its Tuscan-style exterior and gifting personal pizzas to kids who met their reading goals. Before recent renovations, the homey feeling pizzeria held space for nostalgia in the form of dim green lamps, checker patterned tables, and an expansive salad bar.

Since the restaurant chain’s upgrade, the company has focused on making changes to its menu in addition to alterations to its store format. These adjustments also include new deals that customers have been loving like the $7 Deal Lover’s Menu, the Triple Treat Box, $6.99 Melts, and free pizzas and other items through their rewards program. Earlier this month, the chain announced its Tuesday $2 personal pizza deal on social media for the entire month of July, which fans quickly formed lines outside of their nearest Pizza Hut to purchase. Plus, this deal does not require customers to complete a certain number of books.

The limited-time deal both excited and frustrated customers because of issues with using the promo on the app, having to deal with crazy lines, or not being close to a participating location. Although this deal is expected to expire before August, Pizza Hut fans might be in luck because the company is open to extending the offer past July.

What is the Pizza Hut $2 pizza deal?

If we’ve learned anything from Red Lobster’s Endless Shrimp and Subway’s $5 Footlongs, deals that sound too good to be true have an expiration date. As mentioned, Pizza Hut is offering $2 personal pizzas once a week every Tuesday and it is scheduled to come to a halt at the end of July. To adhere to the $2 deal, customers have the option to choose one topping for their pizza, and their personal pie comes with marinara sauce. For families or friend quartets, the restaurant limits only four pizzas per customer.

Melissa Friebe, chief marketing officer of Pizza Hut U.S., says that sales have been going well and supplies are starting to run out. TikTok creator Noel Marie tried out the deal for herself and got four pizzas, each with different toppings: green peppers, pepperoni, and cheese. She definitely reminded some of her followers that free will exists.
