The Internet Is Loving Paris & Nicole’s New Sonic Drinks

Justin Timberlake wasn’t kidding when he sang, “What goes around…comes back around,” in his early 2000s hit song. Right now, retro is clearly having its moment, as evidenced by the return of ‘90s fashion staples such as flannels and thick headbands, and the revamped Juicy Couture velour tracksuits and Ugg boots of the 2000s making a comeback. Food brands are also getting a taste of the fashion world, with Pepsi and Law Roach launching a 70s-inspired cherry cola capsule collection and Taco Bell debuting merch inspired by its Decades Menu. Now, the new millennium is in full force, and 2000s icons Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are collaborating with Sonic on a few new menu items to celebrate the upcoming reboot of their reality show. Tbh, that’s hot.

What are Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s Sonic drinks?

In honor of their new reality show, “Paris and Nicole: The Encore,” (which also coincides with the 20th anniversary of their show, “The Simple Life”) Paris and Nicole are teaming up with Sonic to launch two dirty soda-inspired beverages that will keep up with any trend. The first drink is called “The Paris,” and, like most of Hilton’s wardrobe, is pink (obviously). This dirty soda has a base of Sprite mixed with dragon fruit flavoring, lime and lemon fruit, and is topped with Nerds candy and whipped cream.

The second drink, which is aptly named “The Nicole,” gives major cream soda vibes thanks to Dr. Pepper, vanilla flavor, real strawberries, and sweet cream. Like The Paris, The Nicole is also topped with a dollop of whipped cream.

Are Paris and Nicole’s Sonic drinks actually good?

Even though the news of the collab just dropped, fans of the iconic duo are already raving about Paris and Nicole’s new Sonic drinks. The drinks are such perfect representations of their human inspirations that it seems like the collab we didn’t know we needed.

“It’s honestly perfect and for someone who’s not big on sugary drinks…it’s delicious,” raves TikTok user @hankatherrinee about The Paris.

“It’s not overpowering. It just all blends together perfectly, and I 100 percent say this is a Paris drink,” said @hankatherrine.

“It’s very beautifully presented,” stated one Paris taste tester in a video posted by TikTok user, @maddieasbridge. “I do wish it didn’t have the cream on top of it,” she added.

As for The Nicole, even people who don’t enjoy Dr. Pepper seemed to find joy in the flavor combos, and some say it reminded them of a more dessert take on the soda.

“I’m not even a Dr. Pepper fan but the cream and the strawberries, bomb,” exclaimed TikTok content creator Alexis Frost about The Nicole. Frost also noted that, of the two drinks, she preferred The Nicole.

“It’s almost like a strawberry shortcake Dr. Pepper,” said TikTok user, @kaitlynerickson_2023 in her video reviewing The Nicole. “It’s so good!” post.

How can I get Paris and Nicole’s new Sonic drinks?

The Paris and Nicole Sonic drinks are available for a limited time for $3.99 at participating Sonic locations. These drinks can be ordered in person, ordered online, or on the Sonic Drive-In app.
