Spring is in full effect and what better way to celebrate the warm weather than with a smoothie. Musician Tyla has joined other celebrities like Lisa and Kacey Musgraves in drink collabs with Erewhon. Bliss by Tyla is the new vibrant smoothie added to the store’s tonic bar menu until mid-May. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Tyla Erewhon smoothie.
What is in Tyla’s smoothie?
Tyla’s Bliss not only is said to be tasty but also for a good cause. The artist never misses a chance to support her home country, and so a portion of the proceeds for the smoothie will go toward 18twenty8, an organization dedicated to uplift South African women in their personal growth and education.
Unlike Lisa’s $11 Thai iced tea, it is $22. This tropical smoothie features three fruits, including mango, pineapple, and dragon fruit. These are blended together with hibiscus tea, lemon juice, Vita Coco organic coconut water, maple syrup, MALK organic coconut milk, vanilla collagen, Ultima lemonade electrolyte mix, and Eidon ionic minerals silica.
In case you were wondering what the last ingredient does, wellness experts for Holland & Barrett say ionic mineral silica can help with your heart and immune system. “This helps with your hair, your skin, your nails. You just want to be fresh,” Tyla says in her reel posted on Erewhon’s Instagram.
The color, though, is a classic Erewhon swirl of pale orange, from the mango and pineapple and bright pink, from the dragonfruit. This, of course, means it’s just as Instagrammable as the other pricey smoothies on the fancy grocery chain’s menu, making that $22 price tag just a little bit more worth it. Plus, some of it is going towards a good cause.
What do people think about Tyla’s new smoothie?
TikTok users did not waste time going over to their local Erewhons to test out the tropical smoothie. The aesthetically-pleasing orange and pinkish smoothie has been described as “bright”, “not too sweet,” and also “tasting like Skittles.” Content creator Alyssa Antoci reviewed Bliss and says that it is perfect for the summer.
“Awww and it’s for a GREAT CAUSE! Please support,” TikTok user @ruschkajaffer6 commented under Antoci’s post.
Other reviewers are also willing to look past the $22 price tag in an effort to bring awareness to 18twenty8’s mission. TikTok user @hailaiixo rated the smoothie a 10/10 with text over her video showing her support for Tyla’s drink and its cause.
How can I try the Tyla Erewhon smoothie?
Bliss will only be available at Erewhon through mid-May, so plan your roadtrips now to your closest location. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, follow Tyla’s instructions in the reel above to make it yourself at home.
