The new year brings a lot with it — resolutions, expectations, and new hobbies. It classifies January as a month of change. Though it may seem daunting, it’s not all bad. With 2024 finally here, a new menu is also in our midst. Starting January 3, Starbucks is greeting the new year with new coffee beverages and food — even a new way to use reusable cups. Here’s to 2024, and a new Starbucks menu.

What are Starbucks’ new menu items?

Start the new year with the coffee chain’s new Iced Shaken Hazelnut Oatmilk Espresso.

The new drink features a shaken Starbucks Blonde Espresso and hazelnut syrup, topped with creamy plant-based oatmilk. This latest edition will be joining the permanent menu.

Returning for a limited time are the Pistachio Latte and the Pistachio Cream Cold Brew.

The Pistachio Latte features a sweet pistachio and a brown-buttery topping paired with espresso and steamed milk. It will be available hot, iced, or as a Frappuccino blended beverage. For those who still love a cold drink in the winter, opt for the Pistachio Cream Cold Brew — the chain's cold brew sweetened with vanilla syrup that's topped with pistachio cream cold foam and salted brown butter sprinkles.

Customers can also BYOC (bring your own cup). Starting January 3, when ordering in the drive-thru and/or ordering ahead on the Starbucks app, customers can now use their personal cups. This initiative allows loyal customers to receive the $0.10 personal cup discount and earn 25 Stars as a Starbucks Rewards member as well as the option to choose reusables and support Starbucks’ commitment to reduce waste.

Now, to the new eats.

Also joining the winter menu are the Potato, Cheddar & Chive Bakes — a combination of cage-free eggs, diced potatoes, cheddar cheese, spinach, and chives — and the Vanilla Bean Custard Danish — a danish filled with a vanilla bean custard.
