Poppi Has A New Flavor That’s Meant To Taste Like Mountain Dew

Everyone knows Poppi as the soda brand that’ll make you feel better about your life choices. With flavors like Root Beer and Orange Cream, it’s become a lot easier to put down the Coke and embrace a better-for-you product. Over time, Poppi has made sure its prebiotic soda is going viral online by sending influencers giant vending machines full of product and even having a world tour, featuring a Poppi-inspired clothing line.

Now the brand is taking things a step further by releasing another dupe for a popular soda brand you know and love.

What’s the new Poppi flavor?

Poppi is officially coming after Mountain Dew with its newest flavor, Alpine Blast. The soda gives major Starry vibes, as it features a tart, citrus flavor that comes from citric acid, organic apple cider vinegar, and apple juice concentrate. For the first time ever, the soda will also have 55 milligrams of caffeine sourced from green tea, sure to help you during those late-night study sessions. The flavor is meant to be citrus-y, a touch sour, and refreshing.

The brand hasn’t done too much publicizing of the release, as most fans of the brand found out about the new flavor when they saw it on shelves in stores. Alpine Blast isn’t even listed on Poppi’s website as a flavor or an option to purchase.

Where can I purchase Alpine Blast?

So far, Alpine Blast is available for purchase at Target and ALDI. At Target, you can get a pack of four 12-ounce cans for about $9 through pickup, delivery, or in-store. As of today, they are 100% sold out, but you can sign up to be notified when it’s been restocked.

With ALDI, you can get individual 12-ounce cans in the store or do pickup or delivery through Instacart. Pricing seems to vary from location to location, and the same applies to availability. I recommend checking online or calling the location in advance to verify their stock.

What do people think of the new flavor?

Poppi fanatic and TikToker Alec Adrian was absolutely hype for this new release, sporting his Poppi merch in his review video. “It’s like a lemon-lime situation,” he said, nodding his head in satisfaction. “I mean, I’m having it kind of lukewarm or room temperature but I think if I iced this sucker, we’d come back with like a nine,” he added.

TikTok mom @ingridonthego, on the other hand, couldn’t wait and immediately popped the can open in her car. “It’s like giving Baja Blast,” she said, “Definitely a hit!”

TikTok user @fragrant_beauty tried the new flavor over ice, and said “it’s not bad, but it’s not giving Baja Blast like people say.”, “It’s good,” she continued. “I will buy it again. I actually did buy a couple more cans because I kind of knew I was going to like it.”
