Do you want to smell like doughnuts? Luckily, fan-favorite coffee brand Dunkin’ is collaborating with natural personal care product brand, Native, to create a line of hygiene products that smell like, you guessed it, doughnuts. Native is known for making natural and sometimes controversially-scented deodorants with clean, cruelty-free ingredients, and have since expanded from deodorant to body wash, shampoo, conditioner, sunscreen, facial moisturizer, and more. Now, Native is launching Dunkin’ deodorants, shampoos, conditioners, and lotions inspired by the chain’s iconic doughnuts.
What are the Native x Dunkin’ scents?
Native x Dunkin’ are launching four fragrances that are all inspired by popular doughnuts at Dunkin’: strawberry frosted, vanilla sprinkle, blueberry cobbler, and Boston kreme. The strawberry frosted, which is available as deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, is described as having “strawberry, sugar, and creamy notes.” The vanilla sprinkle features vanilla, citrus, and coconut scents, and is available in deodorant, body wash, and lotion.
Blueberry cobbler lovers have the most options, as the blueberry, apple, and caramel scented products come in deodorant, body wash, a two-in-one shampoo and conditioner, and a lotion. Lastly, the Boston kreme scent has “buttery sugar, cream, and vanilla notes,” and is available as deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Native produces plant-based products that are free of bad things for your skin such as dyes, sulfates, parabens, aluminum salts, and phthalates, and from personal experience, I can attest that Native products do smell good. Based on these delicious descriptions, it seems like the Dunkin’ scented products will follow this trend.
Where can I get the Native x Dunkin’ collab?
You can find these sweet-scented hygiene products online via Nativee’s website or at Walmart. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and the two in one shampoo and conditioner are all $10; deodorant retails for $13; and the lotion is available for $14.
Does Native have other food-scented products?
This is not the first time Native is making a sweet food scented product. In the past, Native has collaborated with the Girl Scouts to make cookie scented products. Customers loved the smell of these products according to Reddit. Native has also collaborated with Jarritos, a popular Mexican soda brand, to create scents inspired by popular soda flavors, such as passion fruit, watermelon, mandarin, and pineapple.
Native also recently announced a new line of sugar cookie products for the holidays, a welcome new addition to their current seasonal favorites. These festive scents include candy cane, sugar cookie, holiday gumdrop, fresh mistletoe, and toasted vanilla and honey to put you — and your skin — in the holiday mood.
