Krispy Kreme’s New Fall Menu Is Only Available For A Limited Time

It might only be the start of August, still well over a month away from the official start of fall, but pumpkin spice season is in full swing. Starbucks announced the return of its pumpkin spice latte later this month, Dairy Queen is releasing a pumpkin pie Blizzard, and Dunkin’ is bringing back their pumpkin spice signature latte. Krispy Kreme just announced their own pumpkin-spice-filled fall menu, featuring four returning fan-favorites.

What is on Krispy Kreme’s fall menu?

Headlining Krispy Kreme’s fall menu is the return of the pumpkin spice original glazed doughnut. Krispy Kreme’s original glazed doughnut is already iconic as a symbol of the chain’s hot and fresh doughnuts, and adding just the right kick of pumpkin spice flavor to the dough makes it perfect for fall.

The pumpkin spice original glazed doughnut is a seasonal icon that fans are always eager to try when it releases, often for just a few days. When TikTok user @keithbucholtz tried the doughnut during its limited release last year, he appreciated the subtle but tasty pumpkin spice flavor. “I taste that pumpkin spice, and everything nice,” Bucholtz said.

Another returning doughnut is the original glazed pumpkin spice cake doughnut, which brings pumpkin spice flavor to Krispy Kreme’s classic cake doughnut. As you might have guessed from the name, cake doughnuts are made of a dough that is more similar to cake batter than traditional yeast doughnuts, giving them a dense, crumbly, and slightly crispy texture.

Hoping for a pumpkin spice drink to sip on while eating your doughnut? Krispy Kreme’s fall menu has you covered with the return of both the pumpkin spice latte and the pumpkin spice coffee.

Krispy Kreme’s pumpkin spice latte can be served hot, iced, or frozen. Flavored with pumpkin pie sauce and topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spice seasoning, this beverage is sure to satisfy all of your pumpkin spice cravings.

The pumpkin spice coffee, which can be served hot or iced, is also returning, and is a blend of Krispy Kreme’s medium roast coffee and their pumpkin pie sauce.

For the first time in several years, Krispy Kreme’s fall menu does not feature any new doughnuts or drinks. Past years’ menus have introduced creations including a pumpkin spice latte swirl doughnut, a pumpkin spice original filled cheesecake doughnut, and a maple buttercreme doughnut, but fans will have to wait until next year for a new fall-flavored doughnut.

When can you get Krispy Kreme’s fall menu?

Just as soon as pumpkin spice season started, it seems to be ending, at least for Krispy Kreme’s pumpkin spice original glazed doughnut. The pumpkin spice original glazed doughnut will return on August 11 for one week only, so act fast if you want to try this fall staple.

The rest of Krispy Kreme’s fall menu will also arrive in shops on August 11, but will thankfully be available throughout the fall. The original glazed pumpkin spice cake doughnuts will be available for purchase in 6-packs sold in retailers.

While the fall menu may only be available for a limited time, we can expect Krispy Kreme to announce their new Halloween doughnuts in early October, so we hopefully will not have to wait too long for the newest lineup of tasty doughnuts.
