Krispy Kreme’s New Grinch Doughnut Is Christmas Nightmare Fuel

Forget being “mean” — this holiday season, Mr. Grinch is the sweet one thanks to Krispy Kreme’s brand new collection of holiday doughnuts. The new collection, which is inspired by the classic holiday movie How The Grinch Stole Christmas, features three new doughnuts inspired by the Grinch himself and sweet Cindy Lou-Who. If the Grinch isn’t your thing, the fan-favorite Santa Belly and Holiday Sprinkle doughnuts are making a triumphant return this Christmas, too. The new Krispy Kreme Grinch doughnut is kinda scary tbh, but also perfectly spot on.

When are Krispy Kreme’s holiday doughnuts available?

Beginning Friday, November 29 for a limited time at participating Krispy Kreme shops, fans can catch the first sleigh filled with Krispy Kreme’s new Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection — three all-new doughnuts, each based on a character from the Christmas classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas! by Dr. Seuss — along with two returning fan favorites. It’s safe to say that fans’ hearts will grow three sizes with three all-new doughnuts beginning Black Friday.

Which doughnuts are included in Krispy Kreme’s holiday collection?

First, the new Krispy Kreme Grinch Doughnut is an unglazed doughnut filled with “coal” (aka the delicious Cookies & Kreme filling), dipped in Grinch-green icing and decorated with a chocolate icing smirky grin and buttercream hair. For some extra festivity, the new Grinchy Claus Doughnut is a glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with white buttercreme, Christmas crispies and a Grinch piece.

If you prefer fruity holiday pies, the new Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Doughnut brings the best of both holiday treats with a glazed doughnut that is dipped in strawberry-flavored icing and topped with a green buttercreme tree. It’s also festively sprinkled and topped with a star piece.

Last but not least, the collection is rounded out by two returning holiday favorites: the Santa Belly Doughnut and Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut. The Santa Belly is an unglazed doughnut filled with white Kreme, dipped in red icing, piped with a black chocolate Santa belt and topped with a belt buckle. The Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut is a glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing with festive sprinkles.
