September isn’t just for enjoying Starbucks PSLs and snuggling under a warm blanket watching Gilmore Girls anymore. The month is basically a pre-game for Halloween. If you haven’t already noticed, stores like TJ Maxx and Target have decided summer is officially over and brought out all the stops for a huge headstart to Halloween. Need your costume or house decorations two months in advance? Stores like these have you covered. And, in the spirit of an everlasting Halloween celebration, this Wednesday, September 4, Chipotle and Spirit Halloween announced the ultimate collab: Chipotle’s Costume Collection. There’s finally an opportunity to dress up as your favorite fast-food chain. What could possibly be more creative than attending your Halloween party as Chipotle’s brown napkin?
What‘s Chipotle’s costume collection?
Starting on September 6, the fast food chain will be dropping a meme-inspired line including morphsuits as Chipotle-inspired napkins, forks, water cups, burritos, and to-go bags. There are a total of 5 different costume options, in colors ranging from metallic silver to beige.
As many of us know, social media and Halloween go hand in hand. What better way to show off your awesome and creative Halloween costume to everyone you know? Each year, around spooky season, Spirit Halloween allows buyers to create their own unique costume using the Spirit Halloween costume bag. So, it was no surprise when two years ago Chipotle hopped on the trend and posted about a fictional “Chipotle Fork” costume bodysuit followed by a “Chipotle napkin.”
“We’re no strangers to memes at Spirit Halloween. Year after year, we are blown away by the passion and creativity we see from fans sharing their take on popular Spirit Halloween memes – and we’re beyond thrilled to be teaming up with Chipotle to bring some of those creations to life,” said Kym Sarkos, Executive Vice President at Spirit Halloween in a press release.
Now, this Halloween, Spirit Halloween is making Chipotle’s dreams come true.
How much is Chipotle’s Costume Collection?
The bodysuits will be sold for $39.99 in the U.S. and Canada. The sizes also range from an adult small to an adult XL.
If you’re looking to be a Chipotle napkin, or even better the classic burrito, the whole Chipotle costume collection will be available online through Spirit Halloween and sold in stores in Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, and Egg Harbor Township, N.J.
According to the press release, in addition to the bodysuits, the popular fast food chain “will be treating fans to a scarily great offer next month.” The possibilities are endless for what Chipotle might have in store for its fans, the brand did create a burrito-proof lip stain. What we do know is it’ll definitely be spook-tacular.
