Does Chipotle have any deals for National Tortilla Chip Day?
To celebrate National Tortilla Chip Day, Chipotle is officially adding a brand new menu item to its lineup: Queso Blanco Nachos. Originally a Chipotle menu hack that went viral on social media, the Queso Blanco Nachos are made by replacing the rice base in a Chipotle burrito bowl with chips. After making the swap, customers can pile their nachos up high with typical Chipotle toppings, like meat, beans, and salsa. And since it wouldn’t be nachos without cheese, Chipotle’s Queso Blanco is poured all over the top, and the dip is poured over the bowl.
How do you order the Queso Blanco Nachos at Chipotle?
From February 24 to February 28, customers will be able to order the Chipotle Queso Blanco nachos hack as a standard menu item. If you’re ordering the Queso Blanco Nachos outside of next week’s National Tortilla Chip Day celebration, though, start by ordering a burrito bowl with no rice. Then, add your desired toppings as you would a normal burrito bowl. Top it with steak or fajita veggies, and then black or pinto beans. Of course, you can load it up with all the freebies, too: corn salsa, pico de gallo, black or pinto beans, or sour cream. Once your bowl is done, grab a small side of chips and a small queso.
Once you have your bowl (sans rice), open it up and dump your small bag of chips into the foil lid. From there, pile your delicious burrito filling on top of the chips, and pour that creamy queso blanco all over the top. Voila, Chipotle Queso Blanco Nachos.
Is Chipotle offering a deal for National Tortilla Chip Day?
Along with adding Queso Blanco Nachos to the menu, Chipotle is also offering a free side of Queso Blanco next week. Between February 24 and February 28, customers can snag free queso when they place a digital Chipotle order via the website or mobile app. To redeem the queso freebie, just use the code QUESO25 when you check out on the Chipotle website or mobile app. Additionally, the Queso Blanco must be ordered with an entrée item(such as a burrito bowl or tacos) in order to be discounted. And, even though the queso is free next week, Chipotle guac is unfortunately still extra.
