Meet Fizz, The Food & Drink Delivery App For Group Orders

Picture this scenario: Finals are finally over and you and your best friends want to throw the ultimate end-of-year door room party. You want fun decorations, delicious food, and some drinks, of course. You hop onto Instacart to order everything you need. But then you realize, you have no idea what everyone wants. One friend had a gluten allergy, another hates tequila and seltzers, and you don’t have much money to put down for the bill. It’s not a secret that most college students are broke. It is even less surprising that no one wants to be the one to put their card down for an Instacart order for $100 or more. Thankfully, Instacart is one step ahead with the launch of their new app Fizz.

What is Fizz?

Fizz is a brand new food and drink delivery app that makes group ordering easy and simple. If you are over the age of 21, simply add any groceries you want or need to your online cart, pay for your food, and have it delivered for one flat rate of $5. Fizz also offers automatic payment splitting to ensure anxiety-free group ordering for any occasion.

Group Delivery

Sound like every other food delivery app? Here’s how it is different. Fizz was created with group ordering in mind so with just one tap you can invite others to join your cart so everyone can have a say in what food is at the party. There is no limit to the amount of people who can participate and the best part is that no membership is required for full use of the app or website. Fizz also offers users a perk called Snack Bucks which you can earn by buying drinks through the app and you can use it to save money on select snacks. Partiful users can create their invites as they normally would with the additional option of adding on a group order that links a Fizz cart directly to the invite.

How does it work?

Invite

Simply begin with downloading the Fizz app or visit Fizz.com. Then, create a party cart and send the link to it directly in your group chat. From there, friends can add whatever items they want and see what has already been added, whether they use the app or the website. After this, it’s time for payment. With Fizz there are no extra price calculations necessary, everyone just pays for what they added. If you are the host or the person who created the party cart, you get to decide when to place the order and whether you want it immediately or scheduled to be delivered later in the day. Lastly, your shopper will grab all your food and deliver it straight to your house. The only in-person contact required would be for 21+ shoppers who ordered alcohol in their cart and need to have their IDs checked.
