What’s on DQ’s fall Blizzard menu?
This year, there are seven flavors on the menu, three of which are returning classics and one new flavor. As well as a super limited edition treat – Salted Caramel Truffle – released from the DQ Freezer. The DQ Freezer unveils new flavors for a limited time, it’s kind of like the sweet treat version of Taylor Swift’s Vault songs, but a bit more exclusive.
The new flavor in this fall lineup is the Caramel Java Chip Blizzard Treat. It features chocolate espresso crunch pieces, caramel, and soft serve.
Returning to the menu are the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat, the French Silk Pie Blizzard Treat, and the OREO Fudge Brownie Blizzard Treat. The Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat is the ultimate fall flavor featuring a soft serve mixed with pumpkin pie pieces and topped with whipped cream and nutmeg. The French Silk Pie Blizzard Treat is a blend of soft serve, chocolate chunks, pie pieces, and fudge. This treat is topped with whipped cream that “adds an airy contrast to its rich and indulgent foundation,” as described by Dairy Queen. Finally, the Oreo Fudge Brownie Blizzard Treat is a chocolate lover’s dream with Oreo cookie pieces, brownie chunks, and fudge.
Next on the Blizzard Treat lineup are Reese’s Pieces Cookie Dough, Salted Caramel Truffle, and Royal NY Cheesecake. The Reese’s Pieces Cookie Dough Blizzard includes Reese’s Pieces candy, chocolate chip cookie dough, and peanut butter blended with soft serve. The Salted Caramel Truffle Blizzard Treat is a soft serve with salted caramel truffles, salty toffee pieces with chocolate chunks, caramel, and fudge. Last, but certainly not least, is the Royal NY Cheesecake Blizzard. This soft serve is mixed with cheesecake pieces and graham crackers with a center of strawberry jam.
