Chipotle Is Giving Out $1 Million In Free Quesadillas

I️n case you didn’t know, National Quesadilla Day falls on Wednesday, September 25. Sure, quesadillas are a simple combination of cheese and tortilla with a crunchy exterior, but why stop at just cheese? Quesadillas are proof that more is better. You have multiple protein options to add to your quesadilla, like chicken, steak, or brisket. You can also opt for a veggie blend. Then top it off with sour cream, pico de gallo, or (but really and) guacamole. If you’re already craving quesadillas, there might be a solution for you. To celebrate National Quesadilla Day, Chipotle is giving out $1 million in free quesadillas. For the first time, the fast food chain will reward fans with BUY-ONE-ENTREE-GET-ONE-QUESADILLA offers starting with a digital scavenger hunt.

How can I participate in Chipotle’s scavenger hunt?

Chipotle is kicking off National Quesadilla Day celebrations on Monday, September 23 with a digital scavenger hunt across its social media channels and three TikTok creator platforms. Here’s how the scavenger hunt works.

On September 23, Chipotle will be dropping codes for its quesadillas — which feature melted Monterey jack cheese, a choice of protein, optional fajita veggies, and three sides for dipping — across social media for fans to uncover. The codes are text-to-claim codes that will be shared via @Chipotle on Instagram, @ChipotleTweets on X, and in posts from creators on TikTok who love Chipotle’s quesadilla.

“Our customizable hand-crafted quesadillas create the best pairing of real ingredients and melted cheese, which TikTok foodies and mukbangers can’t get enough of,” said Stephanie Perdue, Vice President of Brand Marketing in the press release. “We’ve teamed up with some of our most passionate creators to give fans what they’re craving – free quesadillas.”

The three creators to look out for are Shari Dyonne, Dylan McArthur, and Anthony Hernandez. Each will be posting a TikTok sharing their favorite quesadilla order and dropping 10,000 text-to-win codes.

Up to 21,000 fans will have a chance to claim a BOGO quesadilla. When fans find the codes, text the code to 888222 to receive another code for a free quesadilla with the purchase of a regular-priced entrée from Chipotle.

Expiring on September 25, 2024, these one-time use codes are for orders made at participating U.S. Chipotle locations through chipotle.com and the Chipotle mobile app. They are also valid for one free quesadilla with the purchase of at least one regular-priced entrée item. To note, Kids Meals or 3 pointers do not count as an entrée purchase. These BOGO codes cannot be combined with other coupons, promotions, or special offers.

How can I get a free quesadilla at Chipotle?

It doesn’t end there; Chipotle is offering one last freebie.

On the day of National Quesadilla Day, fans can score a free quesadilla on DoorDash and Uber Eats with a minimum order of $25 at participating U.S. Chipotle locations. Up to 15,000 DoorDash users can score a free quesadilla from Chipotle with a minimum order of $25. On UberEats, up to 10,000 fans with a $15 cart minimum will be able to add a quesadilla to their basket for free.
