Lunch in the Loop just got a lot more fun. Revival Food Hall, located on the ground floor of The National at Clark and Adams, opened its doors to the public yesterday. This is sure to be the new hot spot for locals and tourists alike. In an area of Chicago that was lacking in diverse food options, Revival is a welcome addition.

The food hall is 24,000 square feet and features fifteen different food vendors. In addition, it also has a bar, reading room, and record store. It will be open Monday through Friday from 7 am to 7 pm. The Revival Club Bar will stay open until 9 pm.

Differentiating itself from other food halls like Latinicity and Eataly, Revival Food Hall offers a variety of local food vendors. It includes some Chicago favorites such as Black Dog Gelato, Antique Taco, and Smoque BBQ, while also incorporating some new, original vendors like Danke and Graze Kitchenette. No matter what type of food you’re looking for, you’ll be able to find it here.

To tackle this food mecca, come hungry and with lots of friends to try and share a bunch of the food from different vendors. The first day brought huge crowds and the excitement will continue to increase the crowds for the next couple of weeks. Arrive early to factor in wait time and be ready to make some new friends at the long communal tables.

Check out Revival Food Hall during your last few weeks of summer or when school starts back up for Chicago universities. It’s located close to the L making it easy to get to on a walk from your office in the Loop or on the L from your school campus. Enjoy this new adult cafeteria. It’s a must-try for all Chicago foodies.
