The Best Deals To Check Out For National Burrito Day

Who doesn’t love burritos? From on-campus dining halls to off-campus restaurants, burritos are everywhere — grilled meats, beans, rice, and lettuce with the sour cream sauce, all your favorites are in one soft flour tortilla. What a food fest it is! Burrito fans, National Burrito Day on April 2 this year is for you.

National Burrito Day is a celebration of people’s passion for burritos on the first Thursday in April every year. This Mexican dish has become popular not only in the country but around the world. A lot of restaurants and chains have released deals for this celebration, so here are all the best National Burrito Day deals you need to check out.

Chipotle

Chipotle’s Burrito Vault game returned this year, featuring a new gameplay mode called Double Protein Power Hour and more than $2 million in Chipotle prizes – Chipotle heard your demand to have a protein-rich burrito.

Now through April 1 from 9 a.m. to 8:59 p.m. ET daily, Rewards Members can go to the website and try to guess the exact burrito order combination, four attempts per hour. The first person who unlocks the Burrito Vault: Double Protein Edition will win a year-long supply of free burritos. The next 3,600 players will get BOGO entrees. After those, 2,000 double protein rewards are also awarded.

What’s new for this year’s gameplay is that Chipotle hosts a “Double Protein Power Hour,” which is random for one hour each day. When your play is going on at that time, the number of prizes and proteins is doubled. It means: The first two players who unlock the vault win free double-protein burritos for a year. Then, 7,200 double protein BOGO entrees are awarded, and 4,000 double protein rewards are claimed.

Besides the game, Chipotle offers a $0 delivery fee on digital orders only on April 2. Customers can place orders via the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com, meet the minimum order of $10 USD and use the promo code DELIVER. Then, no delivery fee is needed.
