Benefit Cosmetics’ 2024 Advent Calendar Is Grocery Themed & Adorable

Benefit Cosmetics carries anything from makeup to skin care to the general beauty treatment. But this year, your Christmas list might look a little more similar to a grocery list. Benefit’s sure does. The new advent calendar, also known as the Gorgeous Grocer, is entirely grocery themed. From the box to the products, it’s one big explosion of hot-pink beauty care, all tucked neatly in a grocery store basket. For $164, you can tote around your makeup haul in an adorable life-sized grocery basket, bearing the Benefit name and brand’s favorite color.

What’s in Benefit Cosmetics’ 2024 Advent Calendar?

You get 24 different products from the new Benefit Cosmetics line, each wrapped as a food item. Day one is a bar of ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and Day 10 is wrapped up like a bear-shaped bottle of honey. But don’t worry, this grocery basket has all the essentials, whether it’s tinned fish or apple juice or hot sauce or even a can of pickled beets. And yes, they made tinned fish cute. Sporting a theme of hot pink and green, this is a Barbie lover’s Christmas wish come true.

Content creator @lovemikaya_, popular for reviewing trending styles, food, and gifts, unpacks all 24 Benefit Cosmetics products in a TikTok with the caption, “This packaging cannot be beat😍.” The basket is full of Benefit’s bestsellers like the Starlaa Rosy Bronze Blush and the Splashtint Moisturizing Dewy Lip Tint. Other products include their new Hoola Bronzer, their 24-hour brow set, and even their Beyond Real Mascara.

But at $164 dollars, what’s the overall retail value of the products included?

After adding up what it would cost the individual to purchase these products separately, we get a whopping $476. This is after calculating the difference in size. While most of the products in the advent calendar are the mini version, minis are available for sale regularly and were used in the calculation of the total value price. Not only are you saving $311 by purchasing the Gorgeous Grocer, you also receive a fabulous gift; the basket. The basket could be reused for either your makeup products, a picnic basket, or maybe even the grocery store.

Even though most of the products inside are the mini version, a handful of products, like The POREfessional smoothing face primer, the BADgal BANG! BIGGER, BADDER volumizing mascara, and even the Roller Liner Eyeliner, come in their full size, giving you optimum product. The Gorgeous Grocer is a great way to try out a basket full of Benefit’s bestsellers, without having to commit to the size of full products or the price. It’s truly the gift that keeps on giving. Whether it’s a gift for you or someone else, their Gorgeous Grocer is a great gift full of incredible products. As Benefit puts it, “grab this basket of bestsellers” before it’s too late!

Plus, if you sign up for Benefit’s newsletter you can get 15% off your first order, making the total $140.

Are there any other foodie options from Benefit Cosmetics?

Just like a grocery store, Benefit Cosmetics gives you plenty of foodie options. If a basket of groceries isn’t quite your thing, the beauty brand has a list of alternative food-themed makeup items. The Fresh Caught Lashes ($40), which is a set of volumizing mascara and lengthening mascara, is disguised as a pink tin of fish. Maybe you need a stocking stuffer? Then the Chocolotta Blush ($32) and Chocoliscious Cheeks ($32) are perfect. The bronzing and blush palettes are wrapped up like delicious pink chocolate bars! Some of my favorites are the Lookin’ Crisp ($89) package, which is a set of seven bestsellers in a bag of chips and the Soup’d Up Beauty ($48), which is a set of tint samples in a soup can.
