Alix Earle Is Releasing A Line Of Sparkling Margaritas

Backed by a $3 million dollar investment from TikTok influencer Alix Earle as the largest investor, SipMARGS is officially relaunching its canned cocktails in March after its first release in 2021. And this time, Alix Earle (known for her lifestyle videos and podcast), has partnered with the alcohol brand as a core ambassador and face of the brand.

These ready-to-sip cocktails are made with premium tequila blanco from Jalisco, Mexico, fruit juice, cane sugar, natural flavors, and sparkling water. Each 12-ounce can has 5% alcohol, and contains 130 calories and 6 grams of sugar. If flavored vodka soda like White Claw or High Noon isn’t your thing, a tequila-based sparkling cocktail like this one might be something you’ll like.

The drinks will officially relaunch on March 15. They are available on SipMARG’s website, on GoPuff in New York and Florida, and at select retailers in Florida, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia, and Michigan. Plus, starting on April 1, the product will be available in New Jersey. If you’re in any of these states, you’ll definitely want to get your hands on these easy and refreshing cocktails.

The brand currently has five different varieties of margs — Classic, Mango, Coconut, Mezcal, and Spicy. Here’s everything we know about the Alix Earle margarita line from SipMARGS.

Classic

As you can probably guess, the “classic” variety has a typical margarita flavor — citrusy, bright, and somewhat tart from the lime flavor. This tangy sparkling cocktail is vibrant in flavor but not excessively sweet or sugary like a lot of other ready-to-sip margaritas, making it a great choice for a night out or in.

Mango

Mango margaritas are some of the most popular kinds of margs, and for good reason. According to SipMARGS, these drinks are “bold, juicy, and effervescent,” full of the vibrant, fruity, and sweet mango taste. This variety is great for people who love a sweet cocktail — I’ll definitely be trying to get my hands on these ones once they’re released.

Coconut

The coconut flavor is a great choice if you want something in-between the Classic and Mango varieties — with the coconut essence, this margarita is only mildly sweet compared to the mango flavor, but is just as refreshing with that classic tropical flavor.

Mezcal

Mezcal is a distilled spirit made from agave, just like tequila is, which makes it a common (and delicious) addition to a classic margarita. For SipMARGS, the Mezcal variety has an added smoky flavor, herbal notes, and some added sweetness.

Spicy

Of course, they have to have a spicy variety as well, as one of the most popular types of marg — and they’ve absolutely perfected this version. SipMARGS’ spicy margarita has “notes of passionfruit, yuzu, and jalapeño,” bringing a “peppery zing” to the cocktail that isn’t present in the other versions.
