The charming, quirky Mindy Lahiri is finally back on the silver screen, so what better way to celebrate than to eat snacks in her honor? Engage in Mindy’s desires and delve into a donut. But, skip the line at Dunkin’ or Krispy Kreme and make your own at home. Build your own toppings and glazes, and dive in.

Enjoy a snack just as eccentric as your favorite family lights up your TV screens. The salty-sweet combo of these chocolate pretzel bites are the perfect snack for the hilarious comedy. Feel free to have 1, 2 or 30 of these delectable, unique treats.

Empire (Fox – Wednesdays at 9 pm)

Although it isn’t really a “snack,” champagne has been a staple in the hit show since its premiere last year.  Nearly every character has been featured sipping the drink in many different scenes. Mix up the classic champagne glass and mix it up; I suggest checking out these cocktail recipes featured champs. Props to whoever creates a drinking game for this show. Cheers!

Tennessee is home to some of the best BBQ and cornbread in the country. Since Nashville is set in this state, indulge in some savory and sweet cornbread and smokey ribs as you catch up on the show.

TVD’s seventh season has returned to the CW this fall. However, we will not be snacking on blood like our favorite vampires in Mystic Falls often do. Instead, chow down on some frozen yogurt paired with anything from cereal and fruit to ooey-goey caramel turtles. You can even make your own right in your dorm room. Enjoy.

Like everyone’s favorite blonde on the show, Izzie Stevens (Shonda, bring her back!), whip up some fresh pastries, or perhaps a batch of cookies. I suggest having fun with it; bake in chocolate chips, Oreos, sprinkles, candies, and anything else you could think of. What better way to deal with the tragic death of McDreamy than chowing down on some killer cookies. Find even more cookie recipes here.

Channel your inner Olivia Pope and go for popcorn (and a tall glass of red wine, if you’re of age) on the coach. If you’re feeling adventurous, feel free to mix candies, peanuts, and other tasty treats into your popcorn for an extra pop of sweetness or saltiness.

Viola Davis’ hit show has returned following Grey’s and Scandal. The juicy drama goes perfectly paired with cheesesteak sandwiches, since the show is set in Philadelphia. However, as the show is filled with twists, it seems fair to do the same with our viewing snacks. So, feel free to indulge in some Cheesesteak sushi.

Since you’ll probably be screaming and shaking, you may as well indulge in some authentic, creamy, and delicious comfort food. You can never go wrong with a nice big bowl (or four) of mac and cheese.
