9 Ways to Force Chipotle to Deliver to Your Campus If Your School Didn’t Make the List

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Georgetown chapter.

Attention all. The new kid on the block at 40 college campuses is Tapingo — a food delivery app that’s on a mission to bring Chipotle tacos and burrito bowls straight to your college dorm room starting this fall.

For those lucky 40 colleges, this deal is great. But for those of us whose school is not on the sacred list, we’re furious. We don’t want to be deprived of our lazy efforts to see guac delivered straight to our dorms. We want to be able to order chips and salsa from our futons.

For everyone suffering burrito withdrawals, here is a list of 9 ways to reach out to Chipotle and get your voices HEARD.

1. #TapingoMyGuac

According to Tapingo’s website, they are ready and eager to hear your cries. Have everyone on your campus Tweet or Instagram #TapingoMyGuac to get a movement growing on your campus.

2. Talk to the Manager at Your Local Store

Chipotle has always been committed to delivering a top customer service experience even in a “fast-food” setting. So, grab a bunch of hangry friends and speak to the manager at your local Chipotle store.

3. Visit Chipotle’s Website

On Chipotle’s “Talk to Us” page, there are a lot of FAQs, but this is one question they have not answered for us. Click on the “Email Us” tab to shoot Chipotle an email about why you are feeling a little excluded these days.

P.S. Be sure to contact your local store AND the larger Chipotle company. For some of us, this is definitely a problem of grand scale.

4. Make Your Own Guac and Sell it on the Black Market

Nothing tastes better than revenge.

5. Recruit the Cross Country Team

After an 8-mile run, Chipotle is one of the best ways for cross country kids to refuel. Offer to buy them a burrito if they can deliver yours to your dorm in 20 minutes or less.

6. Cry into Your Burrito Bowl (While Sitting at Chipotle)

Because it wasn’t delivered to your dorm, duh. This is definitely the most desperate way of getting your voice heard, but it could work.

7. Storm the Doors with Song

Pull a Pitch Perfect and have your school’s a cappella groups surround Chipotle singing this song.

8. Start Your Own Food Delivery Service

This will teach you how to become your own entrepreneur while also making you the top dog on campus. Say hello to the 21st century way of stealing lunch money.

9. Join the #Spoon4Guac Movement

Because Spoon believes in equality, we are starting a movement to get Chipotle delivered to every college campus.

Tweet or Instagram #Spoon4Guac and show us how you feel about not being one of the exclusive 40 campuses receiving Chipotle at your door. Make posters, hang signs, shave it into your chest hair (okay, maybe not the last one).

We’re here to help you fuel your hunger without even needing to leave your dorm, that is, unless you’re opening the door for that Chipotle delivery.
