How Yale Students Express their Feelings for Harvard through Food

Every day at Yale, we struggle to convey our feelings towards Harvard.

As we walk through our beautiful campus, surrounded by gorgeous architecture, we think about the pitiful university in Massachusetts that thinks itself our superior and we aren’t sure whether it would be more appropriate to laugh or cry.

On the weekends, when we’re actually having fun with our well rounded and sociable classmates, we consider all of those poor young souls in Cambridge who have forgotten what fun feels like, and we frown…and then smile.

During the week of the Game, every extracurricular group on campus attempts to put their feelings about Harvard into writing. In the commons rotunda, we can purchase various articles of clothing that say everything from “Huck Farvard” to “I would prefer if Yale won the Game because that is where I go to school.”

Spoon University Yale, however, prefers to help students express themselves through food. We looked for inspiration in our 13 dining halls and some of the numerous fine dining establishments of New Haven and here’s what we found.
