Which Candy You Should Eat, Based on Your Favorite OITNB Character

With the return of Orange Is The New Black, all us students can agree that school work can wait until after the binge-watching. However, no good OITNB experience is complete without some food to accompany it. And, sure, if you’re above 21, I’d recommend checking out the drinks for each character as well.

You may just love anything candy. No matter what it is, it brought you here. Now you can find out the perfect candy to eat while you spend 13 hours watching OITNB. But, hey, we gotta be grateful for not getting our food from that cafeteria, right?

Piper: Hershey Bar

She’s original, simple, and reliable. A Hershey bar, like Piper, isn’t too adventurous but still can be the leader of a pack.

Red: Hot Tamales

Not only do Hot Tamales match Red’s hair, but her personality as well. Both are fiery, strong, and sure to pack a punch.

Taystee: Payday

Payday is a fitting candy if you’re a fan of Taystee because she’s the one making the most bank this season working with Mr. Caputo. Successful and well “Taystee” they both are a perfect match!

Maritza: Sour Patch Kids

First, they’re sour, then they’re sweet. Not only does that describe Martiza, but the unpredictability and her con artist history make them a winning match.

Morello: Hershey Kiss

Not only is she the symbol for love, but also hope. She loves big and hard even to the point of jail time.

Poussey: Lindor truffle

Both complete with a gooey center. Poussey is probably the sweetest inmate, like her candy companion.

Suzanne/Crazy Eyes: Starburst

Like Crazy Eyes, you never know what you’re gonna get: pink, yellow, orange, or red. But it’s always an adventure.

Nicky: Gobber’s Jawbreaker

Like her “mother” Red, you don’t want to tussle with Nicky. Sure, she’s good to her “family,” but she’s even tougher than she looks and hard to break.

Caputo: Airhead

Kaputi is oblivious to half of things going on at Litchfield. The candy bar name says it all.

Lolly: Mr.Goodbar

She’s a little nuts but we all love her anyway.

Alex Vause: Midnight Milky Way

She can be a little bitter (like the dark chocolate coating) when you first meet her, but once you get used to her, you see her sweeter side.

Pennsatucky: Snickers

She’s nuts but she’s surrounded by sweetness once she breaks down her shell (just like a Snickers).

Brook Soso: Sweet Tarts

Overly sweet to the point where it can be annoying, but still lovable.
