What to Buy When You’re Drunk at Wawa

Some nights, going to Wawa is the only good decision you make. Wawa is a convenience store for the sober and a safe haven for the drunk, which explains why our Wawa is the highest grossing location without a gas station. While it’s hard to make any bad decisions at Wawa, it’s still pretty difficult to make any decision at all.

Before you do any deciding, you should  grab a free cup of water and start drinking.  It’s probably been a rough night, and you could use it.  Plus, it’s a proven fact that Wawa water is superior to every other type of water.

Using the touch screen menu is stressful for sober people.  It’s almost impossible to do drunk.  For every button you press, 20 new options appear; even the regular customers can be overwhelmed.  If you ever find yourself staring at the screen, consider trying out one (or more) of these options. Don’t worry, they’re all Tribe approved.

If you’re in the mood for something spicy, go for a buffalo chicken cheesesteak with provolone cheese and bacon, or buffalo chicken mac and cheese.

If you’re feeling basic, try a chicken quesadilla with cheddar and pepper jack , mac and cheese, or a meatball sub with provolone. You’ve probably heard of these…they’re classics.

If you’re going to go for a hoagie, good luck.  There are a thousand options. Here are a few good examples:

  • toasted hoagie with honey roasted turkey, parmesan cheese, tomato, bacon and avocado
  • caprese ciabatta sandwich with basil pesto
  • hoagie with pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, spinach, parmigiana cheese, peppers, and pesto sauce

If you don’t have the patience or ability to deal with the touch screen menu, F’real milkshakes, cannoli chips & dip, and candy are always solid options sure to please every time.

While drunk at Wawa, you should also probably avoid making any more bad decisions.  A few common mistakes are:

  • Buying more alcohol
  • Trying to pay with flex
  • Paying for water

If you are on a classic midnight Wawa run and you happen to be drunk, we feel for you. Just remember, it’s Wawa. You’re in good hands.
