Trader Joe’s Mini Canvas Tote Bags Are Back In Spring Pastel Colors

Trader Joe’s is a fan-favorite grocery store that captures the hearts of customers everywhere with their unique seasonal items, , budget-friendly wines, fan-favorite snacks and  candies, and colorful flower bouquets. If I go to TJ’s, I never leave  without the soup dumplings or Chili and Lime tortilla chips. But  the one thing that I never managed to get my hands on is the Trader Joe’s mini tote bags, a smaller version of their signature larger totes. After launching the mini bags last year, rumor has it there will be new Trader Joe’s mini canvas bags in exclusive spring colors coming soon, so I should probably go get in line right now.

What are the Trader Joe’s mini tote bags?

The grocery store released mini versions of their iconic tote bags in an assortment of colors last year, and the beloved bags —- which retailed for just $3 — were flying off the shelves in no time. In colors like red, yellow, dark green and navy blue, alongside red lettering that spells out ‘Trader Joes,’ these customer-favorites were just too cute to pass up. Plus, it’s a convenient accessory for a walk around town, a great reusable grocery bag, or even to use as a lunch box.

What colors are the new Trader Joe’s mini tote bags?

Now, TJ’s is releasing new mini canvas bags just in time for spring, and if last year’s drop was any indication, they’ll sell out within days. On March 5, Instagram user @traderjoesobsessed posted that Trader Joe’s new mini canvas tote bags would be hitting the shelves soon. The photo showed an array of bags in a stunning spring color palette including  the pastel pink, blue, and green, plus a light purple too.

The post read, “Rumor has it that the pastel mini canvas bags will be here in April.”

Customers and TJ’s superfans couldn’t help but rave in the comments. @daaangtiff wrote, “Looks like I need to buy camping gear cause I’ll be in that line before sunrise.”

Others such as @kbrathewaite2233 dubbed the tote drop their own personal holiday, writing, “I will mark my calendar & call it Mental Health Mini Canvas Day!”

What other Trader Joe’s mini tote bags can I buy?

This isn’t the first time that Trader Joes has caused a social media craze over their release of their mini tote bags. This past February, just in time for Valentine’s Day, Trader Joe’s Launched new shades of the mini insulated cooler bags that had many lined up hours before the store opening. The coolers came in two shades that were perfect for V-day and the start of spring alike: a light lavender and a pretty pastel pink.

TJ’s $4 mini cooler bags sold out so fast that some Trader Joe’s locations put a limit on the amount that customers could buy per household.

How do I get the new pastel Trader Joe’s mini tote bags?

Though the release date isn’t yet confirmed, the new colors are rumored to hit stores this April just in time for Easter and the spring season. Once they arrive in stores, head to your local TJ’s and snag one for yourself, while supplies last. These totes can double as a new bag, a place to put your groceries in, and maybe even a new kind of Easter basket.
