Veterans Day is a time to pay our respects to those who have served or are currently serving. It is a day to reflect upon the patriotism, heroism and sacrifice made for us by military personnel.

If you have a loved one who fought or is currently serving our country, bring them to one of these restaurants below to say "thank you."

1) Applebee's: Neighborhood Bar & Grill

Applebee's has a mission this Veterans Day: to serve 1 million meals for neighborhood military heroes. Veterans and active duty military with a valid ID can select a free meal from a limited menu that includes items such as a Bacon Cheese Burger, Fiesta Lime Chicken, 6 oz Top Sirloin, and more! #MillionMeals4Heroes

2) B'Js Restaurant and Brewhouse

On Veterans Day, all current and former service members can enjoy a complimentary entree up to $12.95, and a free Dr Pepper beverage, by presenting a military ID or proof of service. Also, for all of November current and former military can claim a free Pizookie through BJ's "buy a hero a Pizookie" program.

3) Buffalo Wild Wings

Wings for heroes all day long. Veterans and active duty military who dine-in at their local B-Dubs will receive one small free order of traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries.

4) California Pizza Kitchen

CPK wants to thank all veterans and active duty military personnel with select free entrees from a special Veterans Day menu including pizza, salads, and pasta. They ask that you please come in uniform, bring your military ID or other proof of service.

5) Chipotle 

The burrito chain will honor all active duty military, reserves, national guard, military spouses and retired military with a valid ID a special buy-one-get-one-free. This includes burritos, bowls, salads or taco orders.  

6) Dunkin' Donuts 

Veterans and active duty military personnel can enjoy a free donut at all Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide on Veteran's Day with no purchase necessary.

7) Friendly's 

Happiness is real at Friendly's, whether it's at home or in one of their restaurants. On November 11th, veterans, active military with a valid military ID or honorable discharge card can enjoy a free breakfast, lunch or dinner. 

8) Menchie's Frozen Yogurt

A sweet way to say, "thank you." On Veterans Day, all Veterans and military personnel with a valid military ID or dressed in uniform are eligible to receive one free 6 ounce frozen yogurt.

9) Red Robbin

"Yummm" is right! This burger chain is offering all veterans and active duty military personnel a free Red’s Tavern double burger with their signature bottomless steak fries. 

10) Starbucks

Since 2013, Starbucks has hired over 17,000 veterans and military spouses. So on November 11th, it's "happy hour" all day for those who have sacrificed for our country. Active duty service members, reservists, veterans and military spouses are invited to enjoy a free Tall Brewed Coffee.
