Although there are a ton of music festivals around the country, nothing can quite compare to Lollapalooza. Since you'll be there all day dancing and singing along to your favorite artists, there's a high chance that you're going to become hungry at some point. When this happens, you could either go buy your own food at the festival or smuggle some in with you if you're a little broke from blowing all of your money on festival tickets. While the decision's up to you, I'd go with the latter and include some of the following snacks in your bag with you.

KIND

candy, sweet
Becky Hughes

Just in time for Lollapalooza 2019, the people over at KIND were KIND enough to release three whole new snack bar products:include Nut Butter Filled Snack BarsSimple Crunch Bars, and Breakfast Probiotics Bars. Yes they're all bars, yes they're all delicious, and yes KIND was KIND enough to send me some to try. Yum!

Nut Butter Filled Snack Bars

KIND's Nut Butter Filled Snack Bars are available in two different flavors that identify themselves as Chocolate Peanut Butter and Honey Almond Butter. All of the bars come packed with creamy yet real nut butter and are topped with crunchy nuts that come with a chocolatey drizzle on the top. Also with all of the bars, they are made with 100% whole grains and don't have any artificial flavors, colors or preservatives in them. Double yeehaw.

Simple Crunch Bars

KIND's new Simple Crunch Bars just came out during this month of May and are available in stores and online for purchase. All of the bars come in two-crunchy bar packs and are made with 10 or fewer ingredients in them. The bars also contain 100% whole grains, are gluten free, an amazing source of fiber, and come in three different flavors known as Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate & Oats (also a good source of iron) and Oats & Honey.

Breakfast Probiotics Bars

KIND's new Breakfast Probiotics Bars also just came out this month in store and online for purchase. Blessing us all in three different flavors known as Apple Cinnamon, Orange Cranberry, and Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate, these bars come in packs of two and provide 500 million CFUs of probiotic cultures; damn, that's a lot, and the nice thing is, they offer the same nutritional profile as KIND's Whole Grain Breakfast Bars.

Loacker

Known for their array of wafers, Loacker is a 94-year-old company that makes all of their products with a cream filling and without any added flavorings, colorings, preservatives, or hydrogenated fats. Some of my top picks can be found below.

Loacker Quadratini

Loacker's Quadratini essentially are bite-size crunchy cubes that come with five light wafer layers with cream per individual wafer cube. Some of their flavors include hazelnut, chocolate, vanilla, dark chocolate, lemon, coconut, raspberry-yogurt, cocoa and milk, blueberry-yogurt, espresso, tiramisu, and cappuccino.

Loacker 45g Classic Wafer

Loacker 45g Classic Wafers were made with the intention of being an amazing on the go snack. Each pack of wafers is single serve and contains eight wafer fingers that all come with with two layers of crème in between their three crispy wafers. The best part is, they're all individually wrapped so that you don't have to worry about ever losing them in your bag.

Welch's Fruit Rolls

For the second year in a row, Welch's Fruit Rolls have made it into my 'Finest Snacks to Smuggle' series. Not like I'm addicted to them or anything, but I will shamelessly admit that I'm just a tad bit obsessed and would buy out the entire building in which they're produced in a heartbeat. In short, Welch's Fruit Rolls are basically Fruit Roll-Ups but of the 21st century. I know that sounds stupid, but regular Fruit Roll-Ups from General Mills hit store shelves in 1983 and were first in the works as of 1975. On the contrary, Welch's Fruit Rolls hit store shelves back in 2017 and come in three flavors which include ''Berry," "Tropical Punch," (aka my personal favorite), and "White Grape Strawberry." All of the fruit rolls are portable, which makes them easy to hide in your bag, shoes, hat, etc.

While Lollapalooza may be fun and all, it's super important to take care of yourself during the event so you know... you could enjoy it. After all; you did spend a huge chunk of change just to be there, so you might as well get your money's worth while you're at it.
