Do you like me, experience chocolate cravings all day? Did you too save the golden wrapper of a bar of Dairy Milk in the good old days? Chocolate is such a comfort food for all your blues. Whether it's a rough day or the time to celebrate, one thing is for sure, chocolate never lets you down!

Imagine if you could create the same creamy deliciousness at home?! Sounds exciting? So here I'm sharing with you an easy way to make chocolates at home. Join me for a 101 chocolate making session!

1. WHAT YOU NEED

You literally just need 2 things to make drool-worthy chocolates at home.

a. Chocolate Slabs/ Compound:

You will find chocolate slabs at any confectionery store which sells baking items. They come in dark, milk and white chocolate varieties. I've picked the brand More for this recipe.

2. Chocolate moulds:

You will easily find such moulds in the stores. They are mostly made of plastic or silicon. They come in different shapes like stars, hearts, cookies, cars, etc and can be used according to the occasion (more like mood)

2. HOW TO DO IT IN 3 EASY STEPS

STEP 1: MELT, MELT, MELT AWAY

Melt the chocolate in the microwave at a high setting. It has to be melted perfectly for the smooth texture. Overdoing it will burn the chocolate and if not melted properly, will result in lumpy bits of chocolate. So make sure to mix well before putting it in the mould.

STEP 2: MOULDING TIME

Put the melted chocolate in the trays of different shapes and sizes. If you're trying this for the first time and don't have proper moulds then simply put the melted chocolate in an ice cube tray.

STEP 3: THE FREEZE

Freeze the chocolate-laden tray for 3-4 hours and voila! Demould perfection and enjoy by the dozen!

You can find this amazing mould design here.
