"Secret menus" often feature over the top, greasy, meat-laden dishes that few people actually want to order. While these artery-clogging secret menu items are fun to research, it's more exciting to order something off a secret menu you think could actually compete with your go-to order. Enter: the Subway secret menu. Compared to most secret menus on the internet, Subway's secret menu features relatively normal sandwiches that you won't be embarrassed to order. There are a few secret menu items at Subway that are bucket list-worthy, insane sandwiches, but the majority are just delicious sandwiches I can't believe Subway hasn't added to its regular menu yet.
1. Pizza Sub
If homemade pizza bagels are your specialty, you'll go crazy for this pizza sub. It includes tomato sauce, pepperoni, cheese, and Subway's famous bread. Warm that baby up and sprinkle some extra cheese on top once it's done toasting, because more is more when it comes to cheese.

2. The Carnivore
This insane Subway secret menu creation is what most secret menu items usually look like. The Carnivore has four servings of steak, six pepperoni slices, and eight whole pieces of bacon. Start out by ordering the different meats on whatever bread you're in the mood for. Then, add cheese and have it warmed up. After that, add veggies if you'd like to, and then you should be good.
3. Chicken Cordon Bleu Sub
This secret menu sub is basically chicken breast, ham, and Swiss cheese on bread—it doesn't sound exciting, but it's surprisingly delicious. Like all the secret menu items on this list, you'll want to build your own sandwich to make this masterpiece. Most Subway employees likely won't recognize the secret menu sandwich name.
4. The Deconstructed Breakfast Taco
While nothing could ever seem more deconstructed than my life, this "taco" takes the cake. Ask for flatbread, since that's the best bread for a knock-off taco such as this one. Then, ask for egg whites, steak, guacamole, spinach, red onions, sliced tomatoes, and Chipotle sauce. It sounds like a mouthful because it is. Enjoy every single messy bite of this creation.
5. The Old Cut
Subway's old cut is more like a "V," which prevents the sandwich filling from falling out and makes the sandwich easier to eat. Pair this cut with any of the secret menu items listed above.
While none of these Subway secret menu items are over the top extra, they might take a little longer to make. If the sandwich artist at Subway stares at you like you have five heads when ordering anything off of the secret menu, walk them through what's on the sandwich. As an added bonus, you'll look like it's your idea and they'll think you're the master chef of Subway.
