Sprinkles - they're not just things that you put atop of ice cream. Sprinkles is also a cupcake shop that rose to fame with their cupcake ATM machine that gained popularity in my hometown of New York, New York. That's not the point, though - the point is, it's Women’s Equality Day this Wednesday, August 26th, and Sprinkles teamed up with Candace Parker to release a new cupcake for us all to enjoy.

What are the deets?

As stated in a press email, "In partnership with WNBA player and women’s right advocate Candace Parker, Sprinkles will donate $1 from each of their newest limited edition Exercise Your Right to Vote Cupcake sold to Vote.org, a nonpartisan nonprofit that aims to drive voter turnout through education and helpful resources. As a mother, woman of color, and accomplished athlete, Candace has been recognized as an outspoken leader in women’s advocacy and understands the importance of uplifting all voices. Now she’s supporting Vote.org and Sprinkles by spreading the word on what voting means to her and sharing it with her passionate followers on social all week long. It was a natural partnership from the beginning for Sprinkles, a female-founded company that supports female empowerment and equality."

A singular cupcake will cost you $4.59, but a four pack runs for $17. The cupcakes will be available until tomorrow, Wednesday, August 26th at Sprinkles locations nationwide. In terms of flavoring, the cupcake has a birthday cake batter, vanilla buttercream, sprinkles and custom “Exercise Your Right to Vote” toppers.

It's never a bad day to register to vote - and it's never a bad day to have a cupcake. Put the two together, and you have pure goodness on your plate.
