If you live in or around the Glassboro area, you absolutely have to stop by Pitman, especially Sweet Lula’s. It totes itself as the “crown jewel” of the town and I have to agree. Sweet Lula’s has an attentive wait staff and great vibes. Enough about the place, let’s get into the food. Don’t forget to check out their website to learn more.

This salad was the ultimate appetizer. The tangy balsamic sauce beautifully complemented the tomato and mozzarella. 10/10 would eat again.

Avocado Fritter with Crab

It’s Sweet Lula’s most popular appetizer and mine as well. The fritter was crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth delicious on the inside. It’s a little big for what I expected but it was very light.

Lobster Ravioli

I put this in my mouth and lost my damn mind. This ravioli is rich, dense and maintains a complex flavor profile. I not gonna lie, fam, I cried a little bit, just a little.

Gone are the days where the ice cream is melted before it hits the table and the brownie is lukewarm at best.  This brownie is better than your grandma’s, trust me.

So if you’re looking for a great date location or a nice place to go out with your parents, Sweet Lula’s is your spot. Don’t forget to check them out on Saturday nights for live music to go along with your dinner. Be a pal and follow them on Facebook and YouTube.
