Reese's Releases Peanut Butter Crème Egg and Gives Cadbury Eggs a Run for Its Money

Move out of the way, Cadbury Crème Eggs. My Easter basket is getting an upgrade. After recently reinventing its peanut butter cups, Reese's quietly released a crème egg of its own. Here's what you need to know about the latest Easter treat.

Reese's Crème Egg Is What Dreams Are Made of

Although the Hershey Company owns and operates Cadbury within the US, I've never had a Cadbury Crème Egg. And I'm still eyeing those Oreo Crème Eggs that came to shelves in February. But Hershey's just got me off the couch, because my mouth is watering at the thought of a Reese's Peanut Butter Crème Egg.

The new product is a three-dimensional milk chocolate egg, stuffed with peanut butter-flavored filling. The filling is reminiscent of thick icing. Use a small spoon to help you scoop it out and enjoy every minute of it. Salivating yet?

Where Can You Find This Magical Creation?

These snack-sized treats come as a five pack, so you can either pace yourself or scarf them down in one sitting. And it's cheap too! You can grab a five-pack for $3.48, which makes me wonder how small these eggs actually are.

Hershey's quietly released this crème filled egg at Walmarts across America (sorry, UK and Canada). So am I marching over to my nearest Walmart right now to stock up on these drool-worthy treats? You know it. Reese's crème eggs are giving Cadbury's a run for its money this Easter. Stock up while you can.
