Well, what do we have here? An amalgamation of the best foods to munch on. For company who likes a little bit of everything, this snack plate covers all of the bases. I think we can all agree, black eyed peas can sing us a tune, but chickpeas can definitely hummus one! 

Some of my favorite snacks to bring to a picnic are trail mix, dried fruit and gluten-free pretzels. Let me let you in on a secret: gluten-free pretzels are crunchier than regular pretzels. The ideal hummus vehicle.

All amenities for a picnic are located conveniently in a central location, from sweet, to savory, to sauce. I like to go to the farmer's market that comes to my university's campus every week, but off-campus there are a plethora of local vendors selling their home-made goodies in the springtime. What's not to love? These items will bring a sense of home to your picnic as you dine in the outdoors with your friends.
