With 13 bold and unique flavors, Marie Sharp's Hot Sauce is changing the game. From their citrus Grapefruit Pulp to their Belizean Heat, each of their sauces is made with fresh vegetables and is designed to burst with flavor when it hits your tongue. Located in Belize, in Central America, this family-owned business produces high-quality products with the slogan "Proud Products of Belize." They also make jams, seasonings, and squashes made from fruit juice concentrates.

In 1980, Marie Sharp was experimenting with fresh Habanero peppers, vegetables, and fruits from her farm when she discovered several recipe ideas for sauces, jams, and jellies. With excited feedback from family and friends, Sharp decided to start a business selling her locally farmed and wholesome creations. From humble beginnings in a small kitchen with help from family, Marie Sharp now has 20 employees in their factory in Stann Creek, Belize. Marie Sharp's Hot Sauce is currently sold and distributed all over the world.

So, you might be wondering what foods would pair well with this innovative new hot sauce. The answer is everything. With an enormous variety of options, there is a flavor that matches well with just about any food.

My Top 5 Favorite Flavors and What They Pair Best With

1. One of my personal favorites is the Habanero Pepper Sauce. This extra-spicy sauce is made with carrots and serves as the perfect addition to a homemade salad dressing.

2. I am also a huge fan of the Green Habanero Pepper Sauce. This sauce reminds me of your basic tomatillo salsa but with a kick. I like to add this flavor to a grain or salad bowl to give it a spicy flare. It pairs very well with brown rice, sautéed peppers and onions, and chipotle chicken.

3. Next, the Belizean Barbacoa flavor provides a smoky flavor that is unparalleled. It is a must-add the next time you're making homemade wing sauce or roasted up some baby back ribs. It is spicy but definitely not too spicy.

4. If you love citrus fruits, you have got to try the Orange Pulp Habanero. A lot less spicy than its neighbors, this flavor is the perfect addition to your guacamole to give it a slight kick. Just a couple drops of this orange-lime mixture and everyone over at your house for Taco Tuesday will be dying to know your secret.

5. Lastly, if you really like spice, I highly recommend trying the No Wimps Allowed Habanero. If you thought you could handle spice, this flavor might prove you wrong. It can be a fiery addition to a slice of pizza of some delicious scrambled eggs. You might want to have a glass of milk around because this one just might make steam come out of your ears.

Therefore, 50% of all profits go towards two incredible social programs: 1. moving kids off the fields and into schools and 2. expanding sustainable farming methods by reducing deforestation. It truly is a brilliantly delicious condiment with an even more radiant philanthropic purpose.
