Here’s What The Starbucks Summer Menu Looks Like Around The World

One of the best parts of vacationing in a foreign country is trying the food. Eating meals at local restaurants and grabbing a coffee from a cafe down the street from the hotel lets you try authentic food you usually would not be able to get in America. But, arguably, another fun experience is seeing how different the fast food scene is in other countries. Europe, for example, takes McDonald’s McCafe so seriously that it is usually separated from the chain’s main building. Another chain, Starbucks, differs in other countries but because of the vastly different menu items. If you are vacationing in a different region this summer, make sure to stroll down to Starbucks to try the different menu items. Here’s your sneak peek of what is being served at international Starbucks menus around the world.

Japan

Japan’s summer menu is inspired by luxury hotels and favorite tropical fruits. If you take a plane to Japan make sure to try the Chillax Soda Mango. It has a blend of mango with green citrus flavored syrup, giving the mango more of a pop in taste and smell alongside the sweet bubbly soda. The Chillax Soda Muscat (a type of grape) is also available, made with jelly from grape pulp and muscat juice and a special syrup. Also inspired by muscat, customers can have the Grand Muscat Frappucino, made from muscat juice, muscat jelly and grape pulp. Finally, the Earl Grey Bouquet Frozen Tea with Muscat Grapes uses frozen earl grey and muscat jelly for a juicy and refreshing summer sip.

Europe

Around Europe, Starbucks serves these three three tiramisu-inspired drinks: the Tiramisu Cream Iced Latte, Tiramisu Iced Oat Shaken Espresso, and the Tiramisu Frappuccino blended beverage. They all have vanilla mascarpone sauce (like the dessert, which uses mascarpone cheese), are blended with espresso, and milk and finished with vanilla mascarpone cold foam and a dusting of cocoa powder.

Australia

Can’t decide between an iced matcha and tiramisu latte? If you are in the land down under, order the Iced Matcha-Misu Latte! In Australia, you can get a delicious matcha latte topped with mascarpone cream dusted with cocoa powder.

Asia Pacific

If you head into the Asia Pacific region this summer, numerous delicious drinks await. First, the Seashore Shortbread Cream Frappuccino is made with vanilla shortbread syrup. It features a fun surprise of popping water chestnuts and crunchy graham crackers. The sand-colored base and blue tone makes it look like a summer day on the beach and it tastes like one as well. The next menu item is the Seabreeze Mint Chocolate Frappuccino, a richer option. With chocolate sauce, mint syrup, mint green cream, and chocolate shavings, this drink can cool the body and senses from the heat. Caffeine lovers can snag the Seabreeze Mint Chocolate Cream Nitro Cold Brew, which uses delectable mint cream foam on top of Starbucks signature cold brew. More on the tropical side, the Lychee Osmanthus Garden Tea has flavors of oolong tea and yummy lychee chunks at the bottom. Finally, the Lychee Osmanthus Cold Brew infuses the lychee with their cold brew, giving hints of tangy lemonade and sweet fruit.

In other select Asia Pacific markets, you can grab a variety of refreshers including the Kiwi Passionfruit with Glitter Pop Lemonade Refresher and the Passion Pop Drink with Kiwi Passionfruit Refresher. Both have sweet passionfruit popping pearls, kiwi or passionfruit chunks, and coconut milk topped with kiwi pieces.If you need to cool off on vacation, you can get the Frozen Strawberry Acai Lemonade Refresher and the Frozen Pink Drink with Strawberry Acai Refresher beverages. Indulging in berry flavors, you’ll taste blended ice, coconut milk, and swirls of strawberry and acai flavors topped with freeze-fried strawberry pieces on top. Frozen Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Starbucks Refresher or the Frozen Dragon Drink with Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refresher, which are both similar to fruity slushies swirling with mango and dragonfruit flavors and topped with freeze-dried mango and dragonfruit pieces. Coffee-wise, the rich Crunchy Ube Oatmilk Macchiato is made with sweet purple ube, pecan crumbs, and oat milk.

South America

For lavender lovers, Starbucks has a Lavender White Mocha Frappuccino, which blends white chocolate mocha and lavender syrups in South America. There’s also the familiar Iced Matcha with Lavender Cold Foam and the Vanilla Lavender Latte mixing lavender and vanilla syrups. Instead of a floral drink, customers can also grab the rich tastes of chocolate cookies instead. The Cookies and Cream Frappuccino and Chocolate Cookies and Cream Frappuccino have a rich and creamy blended base with white chocolate or mocha sauce, crunchy Frappuccino chips, and sprinkles of cookie crumbles.
