Buenos Dias muchachos, It’s time to get out of bed, put your sombrero on and get going. Even though you can probably never wake up this early for your 8 ams, you’ll find getting up for Cinco is much easier.

Now that you’re up, and you’ve found your poncho, It’s time to start drinking. As we all know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so start off your day right with a breakfast burrito and jalapeno margarita.

The burrito has everything you need for a successful day drink, like plenty of protein and carbs. While the margarita has the most important thing for any day ever…tequila.

11:00 am-Mid Mañana Snack

Now that you’ve successfully made it outside, it’s time to keep boozin’ and making sure your stomach is full. Have a mid-morning snack of homemade guac or salsa with some chips and drink some Lime-a-Ritas.

Lime-a-Ritas are a perfect, sweet day time drink, and chips and guac are good on any occasion. Just make sure you prepare your snacks the night before to avoid any problems that come with C.U.I. (cooking under the influence).

2:00 pm-Refuel and Rehydrate

Now I know that we all wish we were invincible but, truth be told, we aren’t, so give yourself a little break and drink something non alcoholic, or you’ll seriously regret it around 5 pm. Rehydrate with some infused water and refuel yourself with an easy, peasy, cheesy quesadilla.

If you’re feeling drained, take a siesta. But fair warning: you may not get back up that night if you’re not careful, so set an alarm (or ten..) for 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm to ensure that you don’t nap until Seis de Mayo.

4:00 or 5:00 pm-Wake Up…Drank Again

After your little siesta fiesta, it’s time to hop back on the saddle and get going again.  Wake up to a Corona and Lime and make yourself some tater tot nachos to get your energy back up.

8:00 pm-A La Noche

Now let the real festivities begin.  Break out your “going-out” sombrero and get ready for the night.  Start off your night with another margarita and take the bus to get some Chipotle burritos before you start.
