During your morning meal, drink some orange juice or eat an actual orange. Either way, the Vitamin C will energize your body to get you ready to take on the day ahead. Aside from oranges, berries are great way to start your morning on a happy note. If you want to continue your happy streak, go for greens. Spinach salad is a great way to get those great antioxidants and folic acid to fight depression. Also, eating foods that are natural and unprocessed will prevent mood swings and actually energize your body. Resist those all-too-tempting french fries!

Maintain that upbeat mood and high energy level with fish! If prepared properly, it can be absolutely delicious and contains omega-3 fatty acids, which increase your mood and overall brain function. Go for the chocolate you’ve been craving. Cocoa contains phenylethylamine, which is responsible for the production of endorphins, which instantly boost your mood. Now that you’re on that chocolate high, wash it all down with some good ol’ milk. The Vitamin D in it stimulates serotonin production, another one of those chemicals in your body that make you “oh so happy”.
