The cast of How I Met Your Mother is full of flavorful personalities. So naturally, we matched them with cupcake flavors.

But because this show is so legen…wait for it…dary, it only makes sense to use the legendary Sprinkles cupcakes for our purposes. Warning: This article may elicit major cravings (*salute* Major Cravings).

Ted: Dark Chocolate

Known for being the group’s hopeless romantic who falls in love way too fast, Ted is always over indulging in relationships that obviously won’t work out. You love him, but he can be just a little too much. Sometimes you wish he wasn’t so deep and rich.

Lily: Salty Caramel

On the outside, Lily is the sweet, innocent wife of Marshall who spends her time painting and teaching kindergarden. However, Lily does have her salty side. Have you seen those “you’re dead to me” eyes? You do not want to mess with her.

Marshall: Sprinkle

Marshall is a man of many colors and will always be able to put a smile on your face. Sometimes you wonder how he gets so many far out things inside his head.

Robin: Cinnamon Sugar

Robin is the definition of the independent women who-don’t-need-no-man. She has a solid base that keeps her grounded and doesn’t need anyone else to top her off. Although a little sugar probably wouldn’t do her any harm.

Barney: Red Velvet

The fan favorite of the ladies, Barney definitely gets around. His cheesy pick up lines compliment his vibrant personality. Who could resist this decadent flavor?
