It’s that time of year when it becomes socially acceptable to eat 37 cookies in one sitting and unbutton your pants after eating a meal. Well, maybe the pants one is just me, but the holidays really are the best time of year for delicious food and baked goods.
One of my favorite holiday traditions are holiday cookie exchanges. Year after year my friends and I meet, watch and re-watch classic holiday movies and bring dozens of fresh baked goods to exchange.
#SpoonTip: For a boozy night, pair your holiday christmas cookies with wine.
But sometimes it seems like I’m left with a couple dozen sugar cookies. Which, don’t get me wrong, are delicious, but after a few too many of those, I am in need of a palate cleanser. So, I went in search of a delicious goodie that will be the hit of the holiday party. Here are five options that are sure to upgrade your holiday cookie exchange.
