As a college student it's hard to find time just to remember to eat, let alone eat healthy. Add being stuck on campus with no car to the equation and you're basically doomed to eating whatever small selection of snacks you can find in your dining hall. This is where Amazon comes in. The saving grace for all college students. We order our textbooks, school supplies and room decor from this all powerful site, so why not order snacks too? I've searched Amazon for the best healthy snacks, so all you have to do is hit "add to cart".

Mary’s Gone Crackers

Everybody loves a cracker, but they don’t have the best reputation in the health world. And for good reason. Most crackers are empty carbs filled with long ingredient lists we can’t pronounce. That’s why I’m so obsessed with Mary’s Gone Crackers. With whole grain brown rice as the first ingredient followed by quinoa and flax seeds, you can be confident you’re actually getting nutrients out of this cracker. They’re definitely a great alternative to a Ritz cracker, and can easily be paired with nut butter for a filling snack.

Rise Bars

I recommend these bars to absolutely everyone. Not many people know about them, but they’re one of the cleanest protein bars on the market. Their classic bars have only three ingredients: almonds, honey and whey protein powder, so you can be sure you’re actually eating real food. My favorite flavor is the sunflower cinnamon bar made with sunflower butter, coconut nectar, pea protein, cinnamon and vanilla extract. This flavor is nut free so you never have to worry about allergies. Admittedly, the texture of some of the bars is often hard due to the natural ingredients, but the sunflower cinnamon bar is soft and easy to eat. As a general rule of thumb, next time you look for a protein bar make sure you can read and understand the ingredients list.

Bada Bean Bada Boom

We’ve all heard of chickpea snacks, so meet chickpea snack's cool cousin: fava beans. Bada Bean Bada Boom snacks have a short ingredient list with fava (broad) beans as the first ingredient. Fava beans have a ton of nutrients and are packed with protein and fiber so they actually keep you full. The best part: you can buy them in prepackaged 100 calorie packs. This makes them perfect for throwing in your bag in between classes, and you never have to worry about portion control. They come in a variety of flavors including a classic sea salt for savory lovers and even a cocoa dusted flavor if you prefer something sweet. Next time you're craving a salty and crunchy snack, opt for these over a pretzel.

Purely Elizabeth Granola

This granola has become increasingly popular in the health world and can be found in almost any grocery store. The taste is unbelievable. I’m obsessed with it. I keep three bags in my dorm room at all times. This granola is packed with superfoods like quinoa and chia seeds, and is sweetened with a touch of coconut sugar. The coconut sugar is a better choice over table sugar due to its lower glycemic index or, in simpler terms, it doesn't cause the same spike in blood sugar levels as white sugar does. The granola comes in a variety of flavors including a chocolate probiotic flavor with an added probiotic boost, as well as a range of grain free flavors. It adds a much desired crunch to yogurt, tastes great in milk, and even better on its own.

Drizzilicious Snacks

These snacks satisfy your sweet tooth without a crazy sugar punch. A serving contains only 4 grams of added sugar and each pack includes flax and chia seeds for added nutrients. They taste like delicious little rice cakes drizzled in chocolate and can be ordered in convenient 90 calorie packs so you can have one for dessert and not worry about falling off track. They come in S'mores, Cinnamon Swirl, Salted Caramel, and Birthday Cake, and each flavor is equally addictive. Would definitely recommend having these in your dorm room for when a sugar craving hits.
