Here's something you probably don't hear very often, but get out your cow suit. Today, July 10, is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A, and dressing up like a the farm animal will earn you some free food.

You don't technically have to wear a full on furry costume (thank goodness), you can just print out a cow mask, wear a cow shirt, or any other cow apparel and call it a day. But head to Chick-fil-A today from opening until 7 pm dressed up and you'll leave with a free entree. Keep in mind that it's a free entree, not a full meal, so no waffle fries (I know, I know). Also, salads aren't included, but you can choose any other entree from the breakfast or lunch/dinner menu. You're probably going to go for the nugs or a chicken sandwich anyways.

Chick-fil-A has been hosting Cow Appreciation Day since 2004. While for a chicken place, it might seem a little random, there's a method behind the madness. See, according to Chick-fil-A's cow mascot, if you "Eat Mor Chikin" you'll eat less of, well, him. It's hilariously morbid.

Last year, 1.8 million people participated in the day, so don't worry about looking silly. Everybody's doing it! But for real, it's a silly day, and anything is worth it for a free taste of that butter, crispy Chick-fil-A chicken.
