9 Foodstagrams Every College Student Should Follow

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at F and M chapter.

Instagram has been blowing up with food accounts the past couple of years. There are so many of them and they’re difficult to choose from, so we’ve helped you narrow it down to nine. These accounts strike a good balance between healthy and unhealthy, because you obviously need to eat your fruits and veggies but sometimes you just have to say yes to a candy-studded peanut butter bagel.

@poet_rose_food

Her gorgeous pictures and interesting flavor combinations show that eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring.

@everything_bagels

Because who doesn’t love a good bagel? This account gets that bagels can be so much more than just your regular BEC.

@breakfastwithbex

A healthy breakfast connoisseur who also loves to bake. Seriously, just look at those Oreo truffles.

@amanda_foodock

She emphasizes “soulful eating,” which to her means deliciously healthy meals with the occasional indulgence – a philosophy I can easily get on board with if her healthy meals look like this.

@amyschulmaneats

She loves chocolate ice cream and her food photography skills are on point. Follow our own Amy Schulman, writer for Spoon F&M, as she eats her way through Paris this semester.

@anotherkalesalad

Despite the name, this account mostly consists of smoothie bowls that are beautifully decorated for your healthy breakfast inspiration.

@nycdining

Former Editor-in-chief at NYU Spoon, she eats all the foods you wish you could. Look out for her “Food by Skyler” posts. You’ll drool over her healthy pancake stacks and not-so-healthy dessert recipes.

@foodcapades

#ShamelessPlug. This is me. I really like sandwiches, sushi, avocado, and playing with my food. I try to eat healthy, but I’m weak (us celebs, we’re just like you).
