3 Things to Make in an Easy Bake Oven That Will Make You Nostalgic AF

Remember that easy bake oven that appeared all across commercials around Christmas time that made every girl dream of making tiny versions of their favorite foods? Well, we do! When we were writing our Christmas/ Hanukkah lists, we were reminiscing on the best gifts we’ve ever gotten — and Easy Bake Ovens topped our list. So, we decided to head over to Amazon and buy a new Easy Bake Oven just for the hell of it.

Once we got it, we were so excited to make our favorite treats and be transported back to the best time of the year when you’re a kid — Christmas time! 

Then we thought, why not spend our day figuring out the best foods to cook in the easy bake oven? Here’s our favorites:

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

Difficulty:BeginnerPrep time: 3 minutesCook time: 5 minutesTotal time: 8 minutesServings:2 servings

  1. Break graham cracker into 4 sections.

  2. Spread peanut butter on all of the crackers.

  3. Place 10 chocolate chips on each cracker.

  4. Bake in easy bake oven for 5 minutes.

  5. ENJOY!

Cheese Quesadillas

Difficulty:BeginnerPrep time: 5 minutesCook time: 5 minutesTotal time: 10 minutesServings:2 servings

  1. Cut the tortilla to fit into the easy bake oven.

  2. Place cheese in the middle.

  3. Place tortilla over the cheese.

  4. Bake in Easy Bake Oven for five minutes.

  5. ENJOY!

Chocolate-Covered Pretzel Rods

  1. Place chocolate chips and butter in the easy bake oven, cook for 5 minutes.

  2. Break up pretzel rods into thirds.

  3. Cover the rods in chocolate.

  4. Cover the pretzels in sprinkles.

  5. Place in the fridge to harden.

  6. ENJOY!
