Chocolate always seems to be a pretty good mood booster. It's true, science says so. Combine chocolate with coffee though and you get a whole new type of happiness. Dunkin' Donuts gets it. They're coming out with a new candy called Coffee Thins.

According to Instagram user @JunkFoodMom who posted about the treat yesterday, Dunkin' Donuts Coffee Thins are a creamy coffee treat that combine chocolate with real DD ground coffee beans. The coffee flavor is there, but it's not overpowering. The Thins come in three different flavors, Peppermint Mocha, Pumpkin Spice and Caramel.

"Caramel is my favorite of the three, and I thought the coffee flavor was strongest in it. Peppermint Mocha also very good. I’m biased when it comes to Pumpkin—just not feeling Beckyish this year," Junk Food Mom wrote.

Don't count on the coffee to fully recharge you, however. Each piece holds 7 mg of caffeine, which isn't a lot if you compare it to a cup of coffee which has around 100 mg. However, if you eat a few, you might feel a little somethin' somethin'.

The Coffee Thins made their debut at the Sweets and Snacks Expo last month, but there's no official word on when these will be available in stores. Based on the types of flavors, it seems plausible that they could have a fall/winter debut. But keep your eyes open and your finger crossed that these hit stores sooner rather than later.
