I’m only human. Like most people, when I heard about the existence of cookie butter, my mind began to reel. Sure, given my recent obsessions with SunButter and almond butter, I was apprehensive. But like any “butter” addict, curiosity got the best of me. I managed to rearrange my entire schedule to make it to Trader Joe’s before closing, and boy am I glad I did.
The label describes it best as “a deliciously unusual spread reminiscent of gingerbread and made with crushed biscuits.” But there is something about it words could not possibly explain. Once you get yours, you might be tempted to empty the entire jar with a spoon. So proceed with caution (and maybe get a second just in case — some things are inevitable!).
