On her walk to work each morning, former Wall Street analyst Kris Christian always wondered why she couldn’t find a strong cup of bold and flavorful coffee. She would dilute robust coffee blends with sugar and creamers to give it a sweeter flavor. She embarked on a journey to find a natural sweetener that would give a cup of coffee that something extra for which she had been searching. She eventually had a lightbulb moment when she ground her coffee beans with dried fruits, nuts and chocolate.
Using this coffee ground hybrid in her French Press, she realized she had found the solution for coffee lovers everywhere. From this idea, Kris launched Chicago French Press Coffee.
