There are a ton of things graduating seniors will soon be missing about college once they enter the – yikes – Real World: waking up at eleven every day, going out 2-4 nights per week and generally avoiding adult responsibilities (beyond doing laundry and making the occasional trip to the grocery store). But there’s one more, all-important thing that U of M grads will soon be longing for: Ann Arbor food. Seniors: if you haven’t tried any of the following food items, now is the time. Carpe Diem. Seize the sandwich. Go sign the Maize and Blue wall. Get cheesy tortilla soup from Le Dog one (or three) more times. Splurge on a trip to Melange for some duck nachos. Late night a feta bread. And, for the love of all things holy (in Michigan, at least), go sample like crazy at Zingerman’s. Below, we have rounded up some of the best eats from around AA that Spoon has covered this year. Enjoy the food porn, ladies and gentlemen, and congratulations to all graduating seniors.
