A Super Bowl Party Menu Inspired By New England & Seattle

The 2026 Super Bowl LX will be the first game that the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks have faced since Super Bowl XLIX in 2015, when the Patriots won the championship.

Both teams have had great seasons this year, and both have a lot to prove. The Seahawks will be giving it their all, having only won one Superbowl in franchise history, back in 2014 at the Super Bowl XLVIII, defeating the Denver Broncos. This season, they have defeated the underdog label and are favored to win against the Patriots.

The Patriots have their own reasons for fighting for the win, as this will be New England’s first Super Bowl since the Brady era. They last won the championship in 2019 at Super Bowl LIII, defeating the Los Angeles Rams. With the most Super Bowl wins in franchise history, they are eager to reclaim their reputation.

On February 8, the two teams will battle it out at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Fans will be whipping up all the best game day eats, and if you are bored of the classic game day eats like wings and dip, here is a Super Bowl party menu full of regional favorites from New England and Seattle that you can make to support your favorite team, or both! With both regions having a huge love for seafood and creamy desserts, this culinary rivalry adds a fun layer to the heated game.

Dungeness Crab Cakes

@chef_boydbrownthe3rd

Everybody swears their crab cakes are “the best”… but if it’s packed with filler, you’re not cooking — you’re running a culinary Ponzi scheme. Food is supposed to taste like memories, not breadcrumbs. 🦀🔥 And let’s be honest… Seattle-style Dungeness crab cakes stand in a league of their own. If that offends you, maybe your crab never had a passport. Seattle Deep Fried Dungeness Crab Cake Yields about 4-6 Medium Crab Cakes Ingredients: 1.5 lbs Dungeness Crab Meat (about 5 clusters) 1 Small Shallot (minced) 2 Scallions (minced) 3/4 Cup Heavy Cream 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder 1 Tsp Lemon Zest 1 Tsp Minced Chives 1 Tsp Chopped Parsley 1 Tsp Chopped Basil 3/4 Cup Rice Flour 1 Cup Panko Bread Crumbs 3 Eggs (beaten) Salt & Pepper to Taste Oil for Frying 3-Inch Ring Mold (optional) Instructions: Remove the crab meat from the shells, rinse gently, and drain in a colander without shredding it. Place the crab in a large mixing bowl. In a skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil and sauté the minced shallots and scallions for 30 seconds. Add the heavy cream, salt, and pepper, cooking until reduced by about two-thirds and thickened. Pour the warm mixture over the crab, then mix in the chives, parsley, basil, garlic powder, and lemon zest by hand. Portion the crab into tight 2–3 oz balls so they hold their shape. Set up three bowls: rice flour, egg wash, and panko. Coat each crab ball in rice flour → egg wash → rice flour → egg wash → then panko. Place breaded crab cakes on a parchment-lined sheet. Press into a ring mold for a perfect shape if desired. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up. Heat oil to 365°F and fry the crab cakes for 3–4 minutes until dark golden brown. Transfer to a 325°F oven for 4-5 minutes to finish. #crab #crabcake #crabcakes #seafood #foodtiktok

Teriyaki gives a taste of Seattle’s love for Asian-inspired flavors and is one of the city’s staples. These skewers showcase the unique Seattle-style of teriyaki —- sweet, sticky and grilled— and honors the history of the dish that was popularized by Toshi Kasahara in 1976.
