Shake Shack, It’s More Than Just Shakes

Walking into Shake Shack, you’ll be greeted by the menu board filled with various burgers, flat top dogs, fries, custards, and various drinks. It has a clean, minimalistic vibe, with a mix of bar tops, booths, and tables. The employee at the register was open to questions and was very patient. Shake Shack is the perfect place to meet up with friends, catch up, and take aesthetic photos for your feed. Your experience will be enhanced by the indie music played throughout the restaurant

This was my first time at Shake Shack, so I brought my love for Christmas and best friend, a Shake Shack enthusiast, in order to give you all the best holistic review of Shake Shack’s holiday shakes.

What to Expect

Shake Shack recently revealed the arrival of three holiday- inspired shakes: Chocolate Peppermint, Coconut Snowball, and long-time classic, Christmas Cookie. You can expect these festive holiday shakes to grace your neighborhood Shake Shack from Tuesday, November 12th — Sunday, January 5th. Each shake is unique and different from the other, so there is truly one for each and every one of us.

See which Shake Shack holiday shake matches your Christmas mood, based on some of my favorite Christmas songs.

Chocolate Peppermint

The Chocolate Peppermint Shake was my personal favorite. This shake has a savory taste and rich chocolate flavor. Even though it was cold it is definitely reminiscent of a cup of hot cocoa. There is a rich chocolate flavor in each sip, but there were nice hints of peppermint, definitely giving it a kick of Christmas spirit. This shake made my friend who’s not a fan of the hot chocolate and candy canes combination actually enjoy it.

If this shake was a Christmas song it’d definitely be “Bring Me Love” by John Legend.

Christmas Cookie

The returning customer favorite, Shake Shack Shake (did I just make a tongue twister?), Christmas Cookie, tastes exactly like a sugar cookie. Topped with colorful sprinkles, each sip made me smile. My friend equated it to feeling like a little kid in a candy store.

If this shake was a song, it definitely would be “Wonderful Christmas Time” by Paul McCartney.

Coconut Snowball

Coconut Snowball was a wonderful surprise. At first it tasted like an average vanilla shake, but the more I drank the shake, I began to taste hints of coconut. The “Snowball”, as the employee so festively put it, was sweet as expected and transported me into my own winter wonderland.

Topped with light blue sprinkles, this shake definitely is the embodiment of “Winter Wonderland” by Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga.
