If you were lucky enough to study abroad in the beautiful city of Florence, you know that food will never be the same again. Your idea of bliss looks a little bit like sitting on the steps of a piazza with a two euro bottle of wine and any of these delicious Florentine favorites.

You stopped in for a €2.50 cup more often than you would like to admit. The spread of flavors made it hard for you to pick a favorite, but you did. And it’s better than anyone else’s (salted caramel or die).

The turkey best is pretty much sent down from heaven. And the fact that it’s heated up makes it even more amazing. Plus, Pino is a silver fox and you shamelessly flirted with him on the daily.

Drunk food will never be the same. Sure, you’ll never know WHAT you were actually eating, but it was absolutely delicious. And you probably regretted it in the morning. Our favorite? A Kebab with EXTRA kebab sauce.

You have approximately eight thousand pictures of your gelato in front of the Duomo. The smell of the handmade cones made you weak at the knees. Plus, Beyoncé went here once, so that means it’s blessed. The cinnamon flavor is a personal favorite of ours.

This panino is much prettier than you. You wouldn’t hesitate waiting in that absurd line and dodging the vicious pigeons to see those dreamy Italians slice that focaccia bread. And you wouldn’t dare ask for pesto because YOU KNOW BETTER.

Stop crying. You would do anything to be risking your life eating your heart shaped pizza del giorno on the triangle bridge. You will never have a greater meal in your entire life. Just accept it, and move on.
