Binge watching TV has become the Great American pass time, and it is important to feed yourself while tirelessly watching every episode of Stranger Things, or in my case Gossip Girl. If you are anything like me, you can never just watching movies or TV unless there is a snack in your hand.  I have complied a list of 5 snacks that are not only easily accessible, but will also make your binge watching experience that much better. 

1. POPCORN

Who says you can only eat popcorn at your local movie theater?  It is so easy to make, all you need is about 3 minutes and a microwave! It is so convenient and pretty cheap. PRO TIP: Buy in bulk so never run out. Popcorn is the simply best snack around because no one will judge you if you eat handfuls of it at a time...

2. Skittles

Another snack that is a staple in everyone's life. Every gas station, 7/11, or CVS will always have Skittles! They are fruity enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, and small enough to make you feel like you are not consuming too much sugar (even though you totally are). Contrary to popular belief they DO NOT all taste the same, and the red skittles are the BEST.  

3. Cookie Dough

I would argue that Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough might be the best thing invented since sliced bread. The best thing about this texture. With it being a little grainy, the cookie dough tends to stick to your tongue more, therefor elongating the flavor. In other words, the flavor is not lost once you swallow. This snack is perfect for when you watching Netflix by yourself, that way you do not have to share with anyone else.

#SpoonTip: Try and only get  cookie dough that is marketed and packaged as edible. Raw cookie dough can make you sick.

4. Chips and Salsa

What a classic! Chips and salsa are not only the perfect appetizer, but also the perfect binge-watching snack. This snack can also trick your mind into thinking that you are actually eating something healthy. Because, aren't tomatoes actually fruits? Vegetables? Either way, it is (somewhat) healthy! Salsa also comes in so many different flavors that you can never run out of options.  

5. Ice Cream

Ice Cream might the most universal snack of them all. Everyone has a favorite flavor (mine is chocolate chip cookie dough!) and has "accidentally" eaten a whole container in one sitting. We all scream for ice cream and I have no shame about it. 

Hopefully this list will make your next Netflix binge more delicious and appetizing. Netflix is always better with a snack by your side!
